Privacy notice
BumpSetBook helps clubs manage schedules and helps adults arrange volleyball lessons, camps and clinics for themselves or their families. This notice explains the information used to provide that service and how to contact us about it.
Data we minimize
Parents manage athlete profiles with first and last name, birth year, gender, and position. Older profiles may retain an initial, experience level, and training goals. Contact details belong to the parent or guardian. Athlete profiles are not public directory listings.
Service data
We use account names, sign-in email addresses, optional phone numbers, timezones, lesson requests, schedule changes, and communication preferences to provide accounts, coordinate lessons, and deliver updates. We also keep delivery receipts and limited security and operational logs to investigate failures and prevent abuse. Clubs may provide external payment instructions or offer online checkout through Stripe. For online checkout, Stripe collects payment details; BumpSetBook stores payment references, amounts, status, receipt links, and refund or dispute information to manage the booking. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Who receives information
The club and coach involved in a lesson receive the information needed to arrange and deliver it, including the athlete information you submit and relevant parent contact details. Authorized staff can manage club schedules and requests. Public coach profiles contain information published by the club or coach; family athlete profiles are private. Hosting, database, authentication, and email providers process information to operate the service. Our providers include Vercel, Supabase, and Resend; Stripe processes optional online payments, and optional analytics uses PostHog. External club websites and payment services have their own privacy practices.
Support chat
Support chat is currently disabled. If you previously used support chat, Crisp processed the messages and contact details you submitted, along with technical information and chat-session cookies needed to operate the widget. We did not automatically send your account profile or athlete records to chat. For support, use our contact page.
Accounts and children
Accounts and booking forms are intended for adults. Parents or guardians manage information about their children; children should not create accounts or submit contact details. Only provide athlete information you are authorized to share. If you believe a child has submitted information directly, contact danny@bumpsetbook.com so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.
Storage, access, and deletion
We retain account and booking information needed to provide the service, maintain booking history, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. Records are not automatically erased when an athlete is marked inactive. You can edit contact and athlete details from your dashboard. To request a copy, correction, account closure, or deletion, email danny@bumpsetbook.com from your account address. We may verify your identity before acting. Some records may need to be retained for security, disputes, or legal obligations; we will explain relevant limits when responding. Service providers and backups may retain copies according to their retention processes.
Cookies and security
Sign-in uses session cookies. We use access controls to restrict private account and club records to authorized users. No online service can guarantee complete security. Do not put medical information, payment card numbers, or other sensitive information in lesson notes. Contact danny@bumpsetbook.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Local league interest requests
Adults can send their name, email, county, player age range, experience, participation preference, schedule preference, and budget preference to the organizer through our league interest form. Responses and email consent are kept in the organizer’s email inbox to assess demand and follow up about this proposed league. This does not register a player or create an account. Do not submit a child’s name or contact details. We keep hashed email and network identifiers for abuse prevention. To withdraw interest or request deletion, contact danny@bumpsetbook.com.
Optional public-page analytics
With your permission, we use PostHog to measure public page categories, filter usage, selected directory links, and engagement with the free coach-tools landing page. We do not send search text, form contents, athlete details, account identifiers, or URL parameters. Session recordings and automatic click capture are disabled. Analytics uses temporary in-memory identifiers, not persistent analytics cookies. Your choice is saved in this browser and can be changed below. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Like other internet services, our analytics provider receives network connection information when requests are sent; IP-based geolocation is disabled. Analytics is not required to browse or book.
Your choices
Essential account and lesson updates are sent by email. Text updates are optional and offered only when available. When enabled, you can withdraw text consent in settings or reply STOP. A new phone number requires a new opt-in. Text consent is not a condition of booking. You can change optional analytics preferences below.
